Sierah Miles
Professional Summary----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am passionate when it comes to caring for children with or without disabilities. Others have described me as caring, responsible, and trustworthy, characteristics I believe have helped me when working with young children. All though I have little experience with working with children outside of babysitting or social events, I could not imagine having a profession that did not include children.

Work History-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Babysitter
Melissa Giraourd - Milford, NH
I have babysat Melissa's son Caleb, who is currently two years of age, on multiple occasions. Collectively I have watched Caleb for approximately 51 hours over the last year. I have also watched Caleb and his Cousin Molly, who is now three, overnight. Watching Caleb would include feedings, diaper and clothes changing, entertainment ( i.e. games, movies, books), and preparing him for bed. Caleb was a joy to watch and was very easy going.
Babysitter
Stefani Miles - Dracut, MA
Stefani's son Caleb, who is now five, was born with many disabilities including Autism, Global Developmental Delays, Epilepsy, Microcephaly, and a rare eye condition that prevents him from being able to see in the third dimension. I have watched Caleb on many occasions for several hours at a time and on one occasion I watched him overnight. Watching Caleb comes with several challenges not only because of his disabilities, but because he also has many allergies that make it difficult to find food he is able to eat without having a reaction. Another challenge that came with watching Caleb was his inability to communicate. Caleb does know few words and can put together words to form scentences such as "back door" and "in the tub", but he is unable to say when he is hungry, needs his diaper changed, or when he wants to do something. As you can imagine this can cause a lot of frustration for Caleb, which in some cases can lead to him becoming viloent and hitting people to get their attention. Even with all the challenges that come with watching Caleb, it is all worth it when you get a hug or even just a high five from the little guy (which is something he doesn't do too often).
